Michigan Good Food Charter

This series of videos was created for the Michigan Good Food Charter and Michigan State University's Center for Regional Food Systems to promote the importance of buying and eating locally grown foods. During the project, I met with farmers throughout the state of Michigan to hear their stories about why they farm and the value local food brings to communities and local economies across the state. The videos were part of a marketing campaign titled, "Buy. Eat. Ask."

The Michigan Good Food Charter defines “Good Food” as healthy, green, fair and affordable. Each of the four farmers in this video – Sharon of Sharkar Farms in China Township, Devon of Sunlight Gardens in Battle Creek, Nefer of Earthworks Urban Farm in Detroit and Erin of The Local Grocer in Flint – share their perspective and passion for this mission.
