Downtown Detroit Partnership’s Parks and Public Spaces team programs more than 1,600 events each year throughout downtown’s 7 parks – Beacon Park, Cadillac Square, Campus Martius Park, Capitol Park, Grand Circus Park, Spirit Plaza and The Woodward Esplanade. I have had the opportunity to work with the parks team on many design elements including wayfinding maps, stage banners, event posters, banners, billboards and much more to market the events as well as help event attendees navigate around the parks.
DDP’s Parks and Public Spaces has programmed many exciting events that I was able to be part of including the Detroit Tree Lighting, The Rink at Campus Martius Park, Parktoberbest, Cider In The City, summer concerts at Beacon Park, Movie Nights in the D at Campus Martius Park, February Flicks at Beacon Park and many more.
