As part of the FIRST Robotics’ FIRST Championship held in Detroit, Downtown Detroit’s Parks and Public Spaces organized events from Campus Martius to Grand Circus. Each year, the events are based on a different theme – from 8-bit video games to space travel – and I had the opportunity to brand two events through graphics, illustrations and signage in downtown’s seven parks and public spaces.

Each year we created a wide variety of signage to direct the more than 40,000 visitors to Downtown Detroit during the week. Events ranged from an arcade at Beacon Park, to life-sized foosball at Grand Circus Park, to science shows at Campus Martius Park and food trucks at Cadillac Square.
